The small seconds and power-reserve counters are balanced on the left and right of the dial, while the date window at 6 o'clock plunges inward in the form of a slight trapezoid, giving a three-dimensional look to the simple aperture.

The clean lines, the slim steel case and the large 42.3 mm diameter dial are simple yet elegant. As a formal watch, the IW500107 maintains the Portuguese understated style and does not add too many fancy features, but still adopts the classic calendar function.

The watch is powered by the Universal Caliber 51011, a movement made in-house by the Manufacture in Schaffhausen and derived from the first movement in the 5000-caliber series created in 2000 for the limited-edition Portuguese collection.
