Zenith Chronomaster Original Paris Edition

Zenith has introduced a new limited edition of its Chronomaster Original, drawing on the iconic El Primero A386 design from 1969. The Paris Edition is a Verdigris-green gradient dial model, created exclusively for the French market.

Design and Case

The Chronomaster Original Paris Edition retains the familiar 38 mm stainless steel case with flat, polished flanks, pump-style chronograph pushers, and tapered lugs. A box-shaped sapphire crystal adds to the retro charm while providing modern durability.

Dial Details

The standout feature is the Verdigris-green gradient dial, which transitions from a lighter tone at the center to a darker shade at the edges. The three subdials are tone-on-tone, slightly recessed, and feature white printed graduations. The chapter ring and outer chronograph scale are printed in white, with an additional 1/10th-second track on the flange.

Movement and Performance

At its heart beats the El Primero chronograph movement, renowned for its 5 Hz (36,000 vph) frequency and 60-hour power reserve. It offers hours, minutes, small seconds, and a column-wheel chronograph with a horizontal clutch, capable of measuring 1/10th of a second.

Strap and Bracelet

Each watch comes with a two-stitch leather strap and a stainless-steel bracelet equipped with Zenith's innovative 'Zenclasp' folding clasp. Developed over three years, the clasp comprises 41 components, including 10 ceramic balls, and features a tool-free micro-adjustment system that allows sizing in 2.5 mm increments over a total range of 10 mm.

Limited Edition Details

The sapphire case back is engraved with 'ÉDITION PARIS' and individually numbered from 1 to 50. The retail price is approximately ,500, but availability is strictly limited to the French market.
