The UMI studio has finally presented the heavy Nautilus 5712R to all our collectors. It weighs a total of 194 grams, exactly the same as the original genuine product! There are five models available for selection: Patek Philippe PP5712/1R-001, 5712R-001, 5712G-001, 5724R-001, 5724G-001!!!

"King of Kings" makes its grand debut! This is a truly milestone-level super-weighted case. The case thickness is 8.7 millimeters, and the strap thickness is 2.5 millimeters. Including the clasp and strap, the total number of links on the side is 25. The total weight is 194 grams. The case has not been thickened, and the strap has not been lengthened. It perfectly conforms to the original specifications. Achieving sufficient weight while maintaining the original ultra-thin size is the most challenging technique!!!

We use copper-free tungsten steel alloy to make the case. There is no steel coating on the surface, so it will never peel or fade. Those who are familiar with the weighing tungsten-copper watches know that products from other factories will have a steel coating on the surface. After wearing them for just one month, the coating will flake off. Why do they use the steel coating process? Because the gold plating solution currently available on the market is developed for stainless steel. They cannot directly electroplate gold on tungsten-copper alloy, so they use the steel coating to solve the problem of electroplating gold. After all, electroplating gold is the cheapest process. But they never expected that the steel layer and tungsten-copper alloy are not compatible: thermal expansion and contraction will cause the outer layer of stainless steel to deform and flake off. In addition, tungsten-copper alloy contains a large amount of copper elements, which is prone to rust and oxidation, and the material is extremely unstable!!!

Let's take another example: Some factories did not adopt the surface steel coating process but instead used a more expensive gold coating technique. However, their products still faded and peeled off after being worn for two months. This is because their tungsten-copper alloy still contains a large amount of copper (adding copper is to reduce the hardness of tungsten so that it can be processed into precision parts). But when watch owners wear them, they are bound to sweat. When sweat reacts with the copper, bubbles will form under the gold layer, eventually causing fading and peeling. Are all watches with tungsten weights doomed to peel off and fade, and have a short lifespan?

The problem of fading and peeling has long plagued the entire industry. Now, it has finally been completely overcome by the research of UMI Studio!! We were the first in the industry to develop an alloy of tungsten steel without copper. However, tungsten steel has extremely high hardness, and traditional techniques are difficult to process it into precision watch parts. Therefore, we spared no expense and introduced a five-axis CNC machine tool to process all the parts. Due to the hardness of the material and the difficulty in controlling tolerances, each processed part (especially each section of the watch strap) needs to be manually polished by experienced masters to eliminate the tolerances. Although the output is low, we firmly refuse to accept compromise products!!

At the same time, we adopt the electroplating nickel process to add an anti-oxidation base layer on the surface of tungsten steel alloy parts, preventing the tungsten steel case from coming into contact with the air. The Swiss original movement can maintain a bright color for decades, which is precisely due to the nickel plating process. After electroplating nickel, our tungsten steel case is also treated with the most expensive gold plating process for watches currently available, making the wristwatch present a true gold luster. The entire watch is made using the true gold plating process, wrapping all the joint gaps of the parts in a 360-degree manner, and there is no exposed white color at the gaps between the case and the strap. The special gold plating liquid is specially formulated to make the final rose gold color exactly the same as the original, without any color difference, achieving a perfect level of replacement!!!

This is not all! After completing the gold plating process for the watch, we also applied the latest cutting-edge technology, the Swiss PVD coating technology (the same process as the gold-plated watches from Longines in Switzerland), to cover the surface of the watch with a hard and transparent protective film, which delays the wear of the gold plating layer. Therefore, we can solemnly promise to our friends who own the watches: If the gold color fades within three years, we will replace it free of charge. All the 5712 models produced by the UMI studio come with a certificate of gold content detection for the watch, and the materials are genuine and reliable, so there is no need to worry about verification!!!

The 5712 series is equipped with a truly groundbreaking super integrated Cal.240 PS IRM C LU movement. The movement contains as many as 265 components and features an ultra-thin planar hairspring, with an oscillation frequency of 21,600 times per hour. All parameters are benchmarked against the original 240 movement. (Unlike the common fake movement covers and fake pearl arbor techniques seen in the market) All functions of our 5712 can be perfectly realized: the same power reserve duration, genuine lunar phase function, calendar function, small seconds function, power display function, and dual quick adjustment buttons, etc.!!!

We have made a complete upgrade to the strap and clasp: the logo is deeply engraved, and a new expandable and adjustable clasp is included. The hinge structure is developed by replicating the original Patek Philippe Nautilus strap. It achieves a soft and comfortable fit similar to the genuine product. Unlike other Collectstrap products on the market, ours feels as soft as a bracelet when worn. Our product outshines all other Collectversions currently available on the market. The angle of the rotating head pin is exactly the same as the original, and the sound when the clasp opens and closes is exactly the same as the original!

To achieve the highest level of detail restoration, we have also modified the iconic beak-shaped case and the real center axis of the hands that all watch enthusiasts have been eagerly awaiting. We have paired it with a custom gradient brown dial: at different light conditions and angles, the edge of the dial will naturally transition from black to brown.
